Our firm began in 2004 with father-and-son team Ted and Andrew Doherty, bringing a wealth of prior experience and a drive to incorporate new technologies into our business practices, something we continue to do to this day.
As a small, family-run business, we’re well suited to understand the needs of the small business community in Northern Ireland.
In the more than 20 years since our establishment, we’ve seen start-ups grow from humble beginnings to employing dozens of staff. We’ve seen recessions come and go, and we’ve been there for our clients through business exits and retirements. Over the years, we’ve gained invaluable, direct experience across the entire business lifecycle.
What hasn’t changed over the decades is our ethos and commitment to providing friendly, reliable and professional service to the hundreds of clients we serve across the province.

Now enjoying a gradual step back from day-to-day work, Teddy continues to support TAXfast with his experience and advice, having built the firm on trust, integrity and long-term client relationships.
Managing Director & Lead Accountant
Andrew oversees strategy & operations, manages client relationships and undertakes all core accountancy work personally, from year end accounts and tax to licensed trade stock audits.
